A Pool 4 Tommy & Nina as Well :)

Our son Tommy was born with a rare genetic condition called Infantile-Onset Pompe Disease, a progressive neuromuscular disorder. While I won’t go into all the medical details here, the past couple of years have been especially difficult, as Tommy has experienced a significant loss of mobility.

Last summer, after watching countless YouTube videos and doing a lot of research, we decided to take matters into our own hands and build a therapy pool for him. It was a quite an undertaking for a 44 year old guy that typically hangs at a computer working on drawings / models all day….but in the end, it was absolutely worth it….and will never do it again :)
